This guy was running a small art gallery in a street market in the North Laines.
…though I don’t know why. When I saw them, I had to get their picture. They look slightly bewildered, as if they’d been plucked from their own time and magically transported into a busy shopping centre.
This guy was in the crowd watching the band (see previous posts; and if you know what the band was called, let me know) – he stood out only because of the cheap plastic sunglasses. Well, that and the fact that he was watching joylessly, without apparent enjoyment.
The guitarist, same band.
I only wish I could remember what they were called, they sounded good.
I loved this guy’s striped hair. There was a band playing live in Churchill Square and he was watching – until he realised I was taking pictures of hiim and his friends, not the band.
Are these guys as cool as they think they are? Is it possible?
These young people were protesting against Scientology. The girl on the right obviously was overjoyed about having her picture taken!
I like contrasts, and a lady in a sari enjoying Mr Whippy covers it. I missed the shot of the whole family, beautifully dressed, queueing for ice-cream, but this one, with sister looking straight into the camera, almost makes up for it.
I don’t know why this guy was trying to climb in through the window, but he was getting plenty of encouragement. As I lined up the shot the girl caught sight of me and looked into the camera, and to me, that’s what makes the picture.
