There’s a kid. In the street. Write your own story.
No story, just thought this lady looked dignified and stately compared to the masses swarming around her.
Worthing this time. There was a busy street market in progress, and this guy was preaching – in a rather quiet voice – to absolutely nobody. He might have been invisible for all the notice that was taken of him. I stood close for a while and words like ‘adultery’, ‘lust’, ‘impurity’ wafted my way; he obviously wanted to save us from the earthier side of life. He knew he was being ignored but when he finished still said “If anyone has any questions…”
Nothing much I can say about this picture. The guy caught my eye, and I obviously caught his. There’s that telling eye-contact again.
I stumbled upon a wedding as people were streaming out of the registry office today. This guy caught my eye – cool haircut combined with smart chalk-stripe suit. Another one of those contrasts I love.
Entertainment the traditional way – this guy was a colourful character, but also a great musician.
This guy was running a small art gallery in a street market in the North Laines.
…though I don’t know why. When I saw them, I had to get their picture. They look slightly bewildered, as if they’d been plucked from their own time and magically transported into a busy shopping centre.
This guy was in the crowd watching the band (see previous posts; and if you know what the band was called, let me know) – he stood out only because of the cheap plastic sunglasses. Well, that and the fact that he was watching joylessly, without apparent enjoyment.
The guitarist, same band.
